Allen’s Landing Band

This Friday, June 25, the band is playing at Hickory Hollow, 101 Heights Blvd. Houston, TX 77007 phone 713-869-6300. They are on Heights just north of Washington. Show starts at 6:30pm and goes to about 9.00. Admission is free, and they serve great barbecue and chicken fried steak.

If you’re planning on attending the show, here is some information on how ticketing works at the Mucky Duck: 

• Tickets ($10/person) at the Duck are available in advance for reserved seating. 
• Seating is arranged in the order of ticket purchase
• Payment by cash or check in person at the Duck, or by mail; not able sell tickets from the website or by credit card.
• Tickets may be purchased at the Duck from 11am til 11pm Monday thru Saturday and 5 pm til 9pm on Sundays. 

 So if you want to be sure of a good table, you might want to drop by the Duck before Tuesday and purchase tickets. 

 The show is Tuesday, May 18,  at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck, 2425 Norfolk St Houston, TX 77098-4113.  Show starts at 7:30pm. Call 713-528-5999 for information. The Duck has a good menu of pub fare and comfort food, so come early and eat. We hope to see you there.

Fresh and moving interpretations of familiar bluegrass and country standards. The selections seemed to choose themselves, springing from the pleasure the artists experienced in performing together. The listener too will experience the seamless harmony and unity of three voices blended in one expressive whole, supported by skilled and sensitive instrumental playing.
